The Director, Indirect Sourcing (India), is responsible for leading end - to - end sourcing delivery, execution, and vendor management for sourcing categories from India. This role manages competitive events, negotiations, supplier relationships, and contract governance while ensuring alignment with enterprise goals for cost optimization, risk mitigation, compliance, and service excellence.

Operating as a core extension of the U.S. Indirect Sourcing organization, this leader supports global category strategies, executes sourcing programs at scale, and drives seamless operational delivery across the source - to - pay lifecycle. The role requires strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical capabilities, with the ability to work across geographies, functions, and complex supplier ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

Category & Sourcing Execution:

- Lead the execution of sourcing strategies across categories including, IT, Professional Services, Facilities, and Operational Sourcing.

- Manage RFPs, RFQs, competitive assessments, and commercial evaluations for high - value, multi - year agreements.

- Drive renewals and new negotiations, using market insights and benchmarking to optimize commercial outcomes.

- Support end - to - end category delivery by collaborating with U.S. category managers and leveraging structured strategic sourcing methodologies.

Contracting & Supplier Management:

- Oversee contract drafting, negotiation, and execution, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, commercial terms, and schedules across various agreements supporting all indirect sourcing categories.

- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct structured business reviews, and ensure supplier performance, innovation, and service quality.

- Mitigate supplier risk and ensure adherence to compliance, governance, and due - diligence requirements.

Operational Delivery from India:

- Lead daily sourcing operations, ensuring high - quality, timely execution of sourcing events from India.

- Drive global collaboration across Legal, Compliance, Audit, Procurement Operations, IT, Finance, and Third - Party Risk Management to support seamless deal closure.

- Ensure documentation accuracy, audit readiness, and adherence to enterprise sourcing policies.

Analytics & Financial Insights:

- Leverage analytics, financial modeling, and market intelligence to inform sourcing decisions and enhance competitive leverage.

- Prepare recommendations, business cases, and executive summaries for senior leadership.

- Track and report savings, performance metrics, shipment execution, affordability outcomes, and portfolio - level supplier performance.

Leadership & Transformation:

- Lead, coach, and develop an India - based sourcing team focused on operational excellence, commercial rigor, and stakeholder satisfaction.

- Drive continuous improvement, digital enablement, and adoption of sourcing tools (e.g., Coupa, financial modeling tools).

- Champion change management and help mature category management capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications:

Required:

- 8 - 12+ years of sourcing, procurement, or vendor - management experience, with strong exposure to multiple categories.

- Demonstrated expertise in complex negotiations, global stakeholder engagement, and contracting.

- Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.

- Experience operating in global sourcing environments and managing delivery from India.

- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field.

Preferred:

- Experience supporting IT and Professional Services categories.

- Advanced degree (MBA, Masters, or equivalent).

- Experience with Coupa, or similar procurement platforms.

- Proven success leading hybrid strategic/operational sourcing organizations.
