We are looking for a Director Human Resources who can build, scale, and institutionalize Aelums people agenda not just run HR operations.
Role Purpose:
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping Aelums people strategy as a growth engine.
You will:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO & leadership team.
- Build scalable HR systems for a high-performance consulting organization.
- Balance culture, speed, governance, and retention.
- Create leadership depth across sales, delivery, and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
People Strategy & Org Design:
- Design workforce planning aligned to revenue, practices, geographies.
- Define org structures for Sales, Delivery, Presales, Practices.
- Drive succession planning for leadership roles.
Leadership Hiring & Talent Philosophy:
- Own hiring strategy for senior & critical roles (Sales Directors, Practice Heads, Delivery Leaders).
- Partner closely with founders on fitment, psychology, commitment.
- Build strong post-offer engagement & dropout prevention frameworks.
Performance, Rewards & ESOP:
Design and institutionalize:
- KRA / KPI / OKR frameworks.
- Variable pay & OTE models.
- ESOP philosophy & long-term incentives.
- Ensure performance differentiation is real, fair, and data-driven.
Culture, Governance & Compliance:
- Build Aelums culture code, leadership principles, and values.
- Ensure HR governance across India, UK, GCC.
- Handle sensitive employee relations & ethics matters.
HR Organization Build-out:
Build and mentor:
- GM HR Operations.
- HR Business Partners (Sales, Delivery).
- Talent Acquisition leadership.
- Shift HR from dependency-driven to system-driven.

What Were Looking For:
Must-Have:
- 6 to 10+ years in HR leadership roles.
- Experience in IT Services / Consulting / SaaS / Digital firms.
- Proven track record of scaling organizations (200 700+).
- Strong exposure to: Leadership hiring, Performance & compensation design; Founder / board-level interaction.
- High maturity in people psychology & conflict handling.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience with global entities (UK / GCC / US).
- Exposure to ESOPs, long-term incentives.
- Consulting / product ecosystem experience (ServiceNow, Salesforce, SaaS).
What This Role Is NOT:
- Not a pure HR operations role.
- Not an HRBP-only role.
- Not a compliance-only or payroll-centric role.
- This is a builder + strategist role.
