Role Overview:

The Lead will be responsible for developing and executing the people strategy for the GCC. This role combines strategic HR leadership with operational excellence across talent acquisition, employee experience, organisational design, compensation, compliance and leadership development.

The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global leadership teams to establish a high-performance culture while supporting rapid business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and lead the HR function for the GCC from inception through scale.

- Develop workforce planning aligned with business growth objectives.

- Partner with global business leaders on organisation design and talent strategy.

- Lead senior hiring across technology, finance, operations, analytics and corporate functions.

- Drive employer branding and positioning within India's GCC ecosystem.

- Design employee engagement, performance management and leadership development frameworks.

- Ensure compliance with Indian labour regulations and global HR governance standards.

- Manage compensation benchmarking, annual rewards cycles and retention initiatives.

- Lead HR transformation projects and implement HR technology platforms.

- Build and mentor a high-performing HR team.

Required Skillset:

- MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institution.

- 15-22 years of progressive HR leadership experience.

- Experience within a Global Capability Centre, Global Business Services, multinational captive or large multinational organisation is essential.

- Demonstrated experience scaling organisations beyond 1,000 employees is highly preferred.

- Strong stakeholder management experience with global leadership teams.

- Exposure to HR transformation, change management and digital HR initiatives.

- Excellent understanding of Indian employment legislation and global HR practices.

- Experience supporting multiple international geographies will be an advantage.

Preferred Industry Background:

- Candidates from leading GCCs, Global Business Services organisation or multinational enterprises across technology, banking, financial services, consulting, healthcare, manufacturing or life sciences will be preferred.

- Exceptional candidates with proven GCC establishment experience may be considered above the stated compensation range.
