About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director - Human Resources to lead the HR function for a fast-growing e-commerce organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in building people strategies for digital-first businesses, scaling organizations, and creating high-performance cultures.
This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and proven experience in Internet / e-commerce companies with exposure to rapid growth, distributed teams, and digital talent management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Partner with leadership to design and execute people strategy aligned with business growth.
- Drive organizational design and change management for scale.
- Provide thought leadership on talent strategy in the digital/e-commerce sector.
Talent Acquisition & Management:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for senior and niche digital roles.
- Build employer branding initiatives to attract top e-commerce and tech talent.
- Drive succession planning and leadership development programs.
Culture & Engagement:
- Champion a high-performance culture with a strong focus on innovation and agility.
- Lead employee engagement, DEI, and recognition initiatives.
- Ensure strong alignment between company values and people practices.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee compensation strategy, rewards, and performance management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and global HR best practices.
- Leverage HR technology, data, and analytics to enhance decision-making.
Learning & Development:
- Establish leadership development, reskilling, and upskilling programs.
- Create digital-first learning platforms to support workforce capability building.
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong background in Internet / e-commerce / digital-first companies preferred.
- Proven ability to manage HR in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Deep expertise in talent acquisition, culture-building, rewards, and HR tech adoption.
- Strong business orientation with the ability to influence CXO-level stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
