About the job:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic 'Director of HR & People Operations' to join the company's leadership team. This pivotal role will act as a trusted advisor to senior management, driving organizational effectiveness and shaping progressive HR policies and people strategies that foster growth, innovation and a high-performance culture.

Work Experience:14 to 18 Years

Qualification: MBA-HR (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification will be preferred)

Job Location: IT Park, Pune (On-site)

Reporting directly to the CHRO, India & SA

Key Responsibilities: -

- Design, implement and monitor the HR operational processes to build efficiency and effectiveness across the organization including; talent management, change management, competency mapping, employee engagement strategies, workforce planning, employee assessments, people analytics, industrial relations, compensation, total rewards, employee retention, performance management, training and development, employee relations, general administration, employee wellbeing, diversity & inclusion and other HR best practices at both a tactical and strategic level.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement progressive HR strategies and best practices that align with the companys vision and core values, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, high performance and operational excellence.

- Demonstrate the ability to coach, mentor and support organizational leaders in navigating cultural nuances, fostering inclusivity, and aligning teams with the companys overarching vision and strategic objectives.

- Continuously review, refine, and align talent-related policies and frameworks to foster a positive, high-performance culture and to proactively address the evolving needs and aspirations of employees

- Partner with senior leadership to transform business objectives into people-centric strategies.

- Lead and execute HR initiatives that enhance organizational efficiency, employee engagement and retention.

- Evaluate and recommend strategic human resource outsourcing opportunities, identifying and partnering with potential vendors to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

- Drive and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and individual development planning.

- Partner with managers to implement performance improvement plans and provide coaching support for underperforming team members to foster growth and accountability.

- Develop and oversee the annual HR department budget, conducting regular cost-benefit and productivity analyses to ensure optimal resource utilization and financial discipline.

- Develop and implement people and culture strategies aligned with business goals to enhance organizational effectiveness.

- Develop and execute HR metrics, analytics, and people-related technologies to identify workforce trends, diagnose organizational challenges, and deliver data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.

- Oversee the design and development of compensation strategy and programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salaries.

- Works with leadership and stakeholder management to understand the skills, competencies and outcomes that align with successful performance in key positions.

- Provide expert advice on HR policies, compliance, grievance management and employment legislation process.

- Develop and administer employee-centric communication programs, wellness initiatives, positive engagement strategies and community partnerships.

- Partners with and influences cross-functional centers of expertise to ensure seamless delivery of HR programs and services across the company.

- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance workforce planning, retention and engagement.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Exceptional communication, process-oriented and data-driven decision-making skills.

- Demonstrable business insight, adaptability, project management, results-oriented, strategic mindset and conflict management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

- 14+ years of progressive proven work experience with a focus on HR business partnering including 6+ years working in a HR leadership capacity encompassing multiple locations/sites with the Global Software Product Development companies / Global Capability Centers (GCCs) / Offshore Delivery Center (ODC) / Global Shared Services / Technology Center will only be considered.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to use data to inform decisions and drive effective results.

- Strong data analytics and visualization skills with sound work experience with HR software and business applications including HRIS/HRMS systems.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively

- Experience working directly with C-Suite executives.

- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time across multiple office locations in India and South Asia to support regional HR initiatives and business operations.
