Summary: This role is the face of the HR organization and function to our Executives and Employees. The HR Director will partner with leadership to develop and support people strategies to increase operational effectiveness, drive results and employee engagement to create a competitive advantage. This position works closely with Business Unit leaders and HR colleagues to manage and deploy programs and processes including recruitment, performance management, succession planning, learning and development, employee engagement, benefits and compensation planning and overall strategic HR partnership. This role also manages the talent acquisition function. This role may also serve as a Subject Matter Expert for various functional HR areas such as HR Compliance, Immigration, Recruiting, HRIS, Training and Development and DE &I. Serves as trusted advisor and partner to executives, managers, and employees. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead, counsel, develop and effectively direct work and results of HR direct and indirect reports. - Manage headcount acquisition budgeting and requisitioning process for supported businesses. - Lead and manage HR acquisition integration efforts as needed. - Contribute to strategic priorities of the HR function and supported businesses. - Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance. - Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances. - Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, identify and address organizational effectiveness gaps, and increase productivity and retention. - Partner with HR COE's and consult on compensation, performance management, organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development, lead implementation of processes and HRIS systems for supported organizations. - Lead, develop and maintain orientation, onboarding processes, retention and exiting processes for supported organizations. - Lead execution of annual promotion, performance, and compensation programs. - Assess leadership and employee development training needs and conduct 1:1 and or group training sessions as appropriate. - Develop and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee engagement, performance, retention, and employee experience. - Provide HR policy guidance. - Monitor and report on workforce planning and talent management. - Identify training needs for teams and individuals. - Partner with COE teams (HRIS, Benefits, Total Rewards and Talent Management) to develop, influence and execute process, projects and programs effectively and ensure operational excellence of HR team. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Knowledge, Skills and Experience - MBA in HR coupled with a minimum of 10 years of work experience in combination of strategic HR Business Partnership and functional HR fields; depth of expertise in Recruiting - 3+ years of supervisory experience - Excellent people management skills - Analytical and goal-oriented - Demonstrable experience with HR metrics, reports and Workday - Thorough knowledge of labor legislation - Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices - Demonstrated ability to build effective work relationships with all levels within the organization required - International, matrixed-organization experience preferred Other Skills: - Depth of expertise in one or more of the following: HR Compliance, Immigration, Recruiting, Training and Development, or HR Operations. - Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and follow-up skills. - Demonstratable ability to build long term relationships and trust with managers, teams, and applicants. - Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work both individually and as a member of a team are necessary. - Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision. - Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
