1. HR Strategy and Leadership: - Continuously improve HR services and expertise by working collaboratively with the CoE teams and complete the regional initiatives in a timely and cost effective manner - Proactively manage people and organizational risk by providing commercial employment and legal advice and guidance on employment law, ER issues, disputes, organization changes and other employee changes to senior leaders in support of business goals and strategic aims - Drive continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging technology to create value and meet business needs within the HR function. - Establish HR policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while fostering a positive work environment. 2. HR Operations and Employee Relations: - Oversee the HR Operations processes including but not limited to Onboarding processes, Employee Life cycle Tier 1 and 2 support via Service Now. - Own internal and external process controls and own Governance of process compliances. - Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and practices, driving consistency and fairness across the organization. - Foster positive employee relations by addressing grievances, resolving conflicts, and promoting a culture of open communication and mutual respect. - Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee benefits, first level Payroll queries and R1 policies and processes. 3. Payroll and Compliance: - Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, and statutory contributions. - Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, and taxation requirements. - Stay updated on relevant legislation and labor market trends, recommending necessary changes to HR policies and practices as needed. 4. HR Metrics and Reporting: - Monitor and analyze HR metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction. - Prepare regular HR reports for senior management, presenting key findings and trends. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree in HR or an MBA is preferred. - A minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices. - Proven track record of successfully leading HR operations, employee relations, and payroll functions in a complex organizational setting. - Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. - Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives. - Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. - Proficient in HRIS systems [Workday] and MS Office suite.
