Director/Head - Regulatory Compliance - Retail Banking

We are partnering on a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Compliance professional to lead a large banking compliance function supporting global retail and consumer banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop high-performing Compliance teams

- Drive Compliance Risk Management and Governance frameworks

- Provide oversight and challenge to business stakeholders

- Manage regulatory engagement and compliance advisory activities

- Lead Compliance transformation and operating model initiatives

- Partner with senior leadership on strategic risk and regulatory matters

- Build Centers of Excellence and strengthen compliance capabilities

Ideal Background:

- 18+ years of experience in Banking / Financial Services Compliance

- Strong expertise in Regulatory Compliance, Conduct Risk, Compliance Oversight, Governance, and Risk Management

- Leadership experience managing large teams and senior stakeholders

- Exposure to Retail Banking, Consumer Banking, Payments, Digital Banking, or Financial Services

- Experience interacting with regulators and driving compliance transformation initiatives
