Director/Head - Plant

Designation : Plant Director / Unit Head

Educational : B.Tech/ BE /M.Tech with MBA preferred. CA qualification will be an added advantage for strong financial and cost control.

Experience : Min 20 years of leadership experience in Plant / Operations Management with exposure to large and complex projects.

Proven track record of managing multiple plants simultaneously with full P&L responsibility.

Strong expertise in manufacturing strategy, cost management, and operational excellence.

Exceptional leadership, HR & IR skills, with experience managing large workforces.

In-depth knowledge of statutory compliances and government liaison.

Job Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end plant operations across multiple locations with complete P&L accountability.

- Manage large and complex projects in manufacturing, production strategy, planning, and execution.

- Drive operational excellence through automation, digitization, lean practices, and cost optimization.

- Ensure strict compliance with Audit, Legal, Safety, Health & Environment standards.

- Build and sustain strong Industrial Relations (IR) with a large workforce and government agencies.

- Partner with stakeholders for regulatory, statutory, and PR matters.

- Develop and execute long-term strategies for modernization, capacity expansion, and growth.

Mentor senior teams and develop a strong leadership pipeline.

Candidate Profile :

Strong exposure to overall P&L management of large plants, preferably in Steel, Cement, Power, Mining, Auto OEM, Industrial Equipment, Heavy Engineering, or Infrastructure Manufacturing, Should have stable career with contributions at each of the places from reputed companies at National / Zonal with professional companies and competitive environment.
