Director - Global Logistics & Compliance

The Director - Global Logistics & Compliance will be responsible for leading end-to-end global logistics operations, international trade compliance, and regulatory governance across regions. This role will drive logistics strategy, optimize cross-border supply chains, ensure adherence to global trade laws, and manage risk while enabling scalable, cost-efficient, and compliant global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute global logistics and trade compliance strategy aligned with business goals

- Oversee international transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and distribution networks

- Ensure compliance with global trade regulations including customs laws, export controls, sanctions, and FTAs

- Lead audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting across regions

- Optimize logistics costs through carrier negotiations, network design, and process improvements

- Manage relationships with customs authorities, logistics partners, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies

- Drive digitization of logistics and compliance processes using TMS, GTM, and analytics tools

- Lead crisis management for supply disruptions, geopolitical risks, and regulatory changes

- Build and mentor high-performing global logistics and compliance teams

- Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, and regional leadership for seamless operations
