Role Overview:


We are looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits (C&B) professional to lead the compensation strategy and operations for the Canada region. This role will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to design and manage competitive compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate talent.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing end-to-end compensation for Canada and exposure to one or more global markets. Prior experience in an IT Services, Technology, or Global Capability Center (GCC) environment will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end Compensation & Benefits programs for the Canada region.

- Design, review, and administer salary structures, annual compensation reviews, merit cycles, promotions, bonuses, and market corrections.

- Conduct market benchmarking using leading compensation surveys and recommend competitive pay positioning.

- Partner with business leaders and HRBPs on compensation strategy for hiring, retention, internal movements, and critical talent.

- Evaluate and recommend compensation proposals for senior and niche hiring.

- Ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with organizational compensation philosophy.

- Manage job evaluation, job architecture, and salary band governance.

- Support incentive plan design, sales incentive programs, and variable pay frameworks where applicable.

- Analyze compensation trends and prepare insights for leadership decision-making.

- Drive compensation governance while ensuring compliance with local statutory and employment regulations.

- Collaborate with global HR teams on harmonization of compensation practices across regions.

- Participate in global compensation projects, policy enhancements, and rewards transformation initiatives.

- Support budgeting, workforce planning, and compensation cost analysis.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 13-16 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits.

- Strong hands-on experience managing Canada Compensation & Benefits is mandatory.

- Exposure to at least one additional global market (US, UK, Europe, ANZ, APAC, or LATAM) is highly preferred.

- Experience in IT Services, Technology, Consulting, Digital Engineering, or GCC organizations.

- Strong knowledge of salary benchmarking, compensation surveys, pay structures, job evaluation, and rewards frameworks.

- Experience in annual compensation review cycles, budgeting, and compensation analytics.

- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel; experience with HRIS and compensation tools is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline.

- Certification in Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards is an added advantage.
