Director - Fund Raising/M&A - Investment Bank

Our client is a leading growth-stageboutique investment bank in India, with a strong track record across fundraising and M&A.

We are looking for a high-impact front-end Investment Banking professional to lead mandates within Financial Services sector, working closely with founders, investors, and strategic buyers.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead origination and execution of M&A, fundraising, and strategic advisory mandates within the Financial Services sector.

2. Develop and maintain relationships with founders, CXOs, boards, investors, and key industry stakeholders.

3. Identify new business opportunities and drive mandate acquisition through proactive client coverage.

4. Serve as the primary advisor to clients, providing strategic and transaction-related guidance.

5. Oversee end-to-end deal execution, including valuation, due diligence, negotiations, and transaction closing.

Qualifications:

1. 8-12 years of front end investment banking and/or corporate finance experience

2. Strong relationships within the Financial Services/FIG ecosystem.

3. Demonstrated experience executing M&A and capital raising transactions.

4. Strong commercial mindset with the ability to originate and win mandates.

5. Excellent financial analysis, valuation, negotiation, and presentation skills.

6. Proven ability to manage clients and lead teams independently
