Role & responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the overall fundraising strategy for the organization
- Co-create and drive a 3-year fundraising roadmap aligned with organizational goals
- Raise large, multi-year, multi-crore funds from CSR, foundations, family offices, HNIs, and institutional donors
- Build and diversify funding sources, including domestic and international donors
- Develop innovative funding models such as:
- Outcome-based funding (DIBs / SIBs
- Brand and cause-linked campaigns
- Employee engagement and giving programs
- Manage senior donor relationships (CXO / Board level)
- Lead end-to-end donor lifecycle: pitching, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and stewardship
- Ensure high-quality donor reporting covering impact, financial utilization, and success stories
- Collaborate with Programs, MEL, Finance, and Communications teams to align fundraising with impact delivery
- Embed data-driven impact narratives into proposals and donor communications
- Provide fundraising inputs into program design, budgeting, and annual planning
- Lead, mentor, and scale the fundraising team
- Build and manage fundraising systems and processes (CRM, dashboards, pipeline tracking)
- Establish SOPs for due diligence, grant compliance, and financial forecasting
- Represent the organization as a thought leader in the CSR and social impact ecosystem
- Strengthen institutional visibility, credibility, and partnerships
