Role Overview:

The Director Food and Beverage role is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations within a large hospitality establishment in Gujarat. This role involves strategic planning, menu development, cost control, staff management, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The Director will collaborate with executive management, culinary teams, and service staff to optimize profitability and maintain high standards of quality and service. The impact of this role is significant, directly influencing customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and the overall reputation of the establishment.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for the food and beverage department to achieve revenue targets and enhance profitability.

- Oversee menu development and pricing strategies to align with market trends and customer preferences.

- Manage and mentor a team of food and beverage professionals, including chefs, servers, and bartenders, to ensure high performance and excellent service.

- Monitor and control food and beverage costs to maximize profitability and minimize waste.

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and ensure quality products.

- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

- Plan and execute special events and promotions to attract customers and generate revenue.


Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful food and beverage strategies in a large hospitality setting.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals.

- Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors.

- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, culinary techniques, and service standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

- Adaptability to work on-site in Gujarat, understanding local market dynamics and customer preferences.

- 10-20 years of experience in Food and Beverage industry.
