Director/Executive Director - Equity Capital Markets - Deal Syndication - CA/IIM/FMS/MDI/XLRI

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our ECM Syndication team. The role requires strong expertise in syndication and distribution of ECM products, with proven experience across IPOs, QIPs, FPOs, Rights Issues, Open Offers, Buybacks, FCCBs, and GDR/ADR issuances. The ideal candidate will have deep investor relationships and a demonstrated ability to drive placements and successful deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage endto-end syndication for ECM transactions including IPOs, FPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, Buybacks, and other equity-linked instruments.

- Develop, maintain, and update investor databases capturing preferences, allocations, and feedback.

- Build and nurture strong relationships with institutional investors (domestic and international), large corporates, and financial market participants.

- Conduct financial analysis and ongoing industry/market research on ECM activities to support deal execution.

- Participate in investor targeting and selection in coordination with the sales and IB teams.

- Coordinate issuerinvestor interactions, roadshows, and meetings with lead managers.

- Track market sentiment, recent ECM deal flows, and investor behaviour to provide actionable insights.

- Collaborate with sales teams to gauge investor appetite, manage demand, and oversee pricing strategy during live transactions.

- Lead the book-building and allocation process, ensuring transparency and fairness.

- Provide competitive analysis on deal pricing, structure, and timing.

- Prepare and present deal memos, allocation reports, and post-deal analysis.

- Ensure strict compliance with confidentiality standards and regulatory guidelines throughout the transaction.

- Serve as the key link between origination, execution, legal, compliance, sales, research, and investors to ensure seamless deal execution.

- Share investor feedback with origination teams to strengthen future deal positioning.

Role Requirement (Qualification & Experience):

- CA or MBA from Tier 1 institute

- Proven track record in ECM syndication and deal placements.

- Strong domestic and international investor network with excellent relationship and negotiation skills.

- Deep understanding of equity markets, transaction structuring, and syndication dynamics.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor market trends and investor appetite.

- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on multiple live transactions.
