Director - Engineering - SaaS

Job Summary:

Senior Engineering Leadership role responsible for engineering strategy, SaaS architecture, AI technology, scalability, DevOps, security, and product delivery. The role will lead engineering teams, drive technology roadmaps, improve system reliability and performance, and collaborate with CEO, CTO, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align technology with business goals.

Requirements:

- 8+ years engineering leadership experience, including people management

- Track record of shipping high-impact, reliable software

- Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities

- Strong business orientation

- Understands Product - Go-to-Market trade-offs

- Ability to balance speed, quality, and technical risk

Responsibilities:

- Define engineering strategy and technical roadmap

- Drive scalable, reliable SaaS architecture

- Collaborate with CEO, CTO & Product teams

- Lead and mentor engineering teams

- Ensure on-time, high-quality product delivery

- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, security & automation

- Improve observability, monitoring & site reliability

- Manage technical debt, refactoring & quality

- Lead disaster recovery and uptime initiatives

- Establish Agile processes, metrics & engineering culture

- Partner with Product & UX on technical solutions
