About the Role:


As Director of Engineering, youll be at the intersection of technology leadership and strategic execution.


Youll play a pivotal role in scaling our engineering organization, driving excellence in product quality, architecture, and performance while empowering teams to innovate and deliver with speed.


This is a hands-on leadership opportunity youll influence the engineering roadmap, define processes, and shape the future of our platform as we continue to grow rapidly.


What Youll Do:


- Own the technical strategy for product lines, execution, and quality across multiple product areas.


- Ensure high standards of product quality, performance, and security across all systems.


- Coach, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior engineers to elevate technical depth and leadership capabilities.


- Implement technical and process improvements aligned with organizational priorities.


- Define and drive engineering OKRs that align with company goals and long-term vision.


- Partner closely with Product Management and Design to ensure seamless delivery and collaboration across teams.


- Oversee agile processes, ensuring predictability and high-velocity execution.


- Lead efforts around system design and architecture, enabling scalability, resilience, and innovation.


- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code quality, CI/CD, testing, and incident management.


- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends, and proactively bring innovation into our stack.


- Recruit, inspire, and retain top engineering talent to build a world-class team.


What Were Looking For:


- 10-13 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


- Proven success in leading high-performing teams of 10 to 15 engineers.


- Strong technical foundation in software architecture, distributed systems, and design principles.


- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex products from concept to production in a fast-paced environment.


- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and engineering excellence.


- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.


- A bias for action you lead with clarity, ownership, and speed.
