Director - Electrical Engineering

Technical Knowledge

- Experience of LV electrical systems, including switchgears, MCC, PCC, and distribution board.

- Knowledge/Experience of standards and regulations (IEC, IS, NEC) related to electrical cabinets and switchgear assemblies.

Design & Engineering Skills

- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.

- Competence in designing cabinet layouts, busbar sizing, cable routing, and panel mounting.

- Experience with electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).

Installation & Commissioning

- General experience in assembly, installation, and commissioning of LV switchgear panels.

- Knowledge of cable termination, wiring standards, and panel testing procedures.

- Active participation in Troubleshooting and resolving problem.

Project & Quality Management

- Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams Globally.

- Understanding project timelines, documentation, and safety compliance.

- Awareness of quality control procedures and inspection protocols for electrical cabinets.

Supplier Qualification & Audit Skills

- Awareness about ISO system, VDA6.3 , IRIS etc.

Must Have

- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering

- Significant international professional experience in Engineering, R&D, or large-scale project execution, with deep technical expertise in Cabinets & Low Voltage Switchgears.

- Strong background in global supplier ecosystems, cost analysis/optimization, and project management. Proven negotiation, moderation, and executive presentation skills.

- Experience in leading diverse, global teams across multiple regions is highly desirable.

- Strategic, globally oriented mindset with strong decision-making abilities and customer focus.
