Director - ECM Coverage - Industrials & Chemicals Sector - Domestic Boutique Investment Banking

Key Responsibilities:

- Originate and execute Equity Capital Markets transactions across the Industrials and Chemicals sectors.

- Develop and maintain relationships with promoters, CXOs, and key decision-makers within target companies.

- Identify opportunities for IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, follow-on offerings, block deals, and other capital-raising transactions.

- Drive client coverage initiatives and build a robust sector-specific pipeline.

- Advise clients on capital structure, equity fundraising strategies, market positioning, and timing of transactions.

- Coordinate with internal product teams including Investment Banking, M&A, Institutional Equities, and Research.

- Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch books, market updates, and transaction proposals.

- Lead due diligence processes and manage interactions with legal advisors, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.

- Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the Industrials and Chemicals space.

- Mentor junior team members and support business development efforts to expand the ECM franchise within the sector.

Relevant Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

- 12+ years of experience with key focus on Industrials & Chemicals sector transactions in Investment Banking.

- Should have a strong track record of successful deal closures and pipeline in the required sector.

- Expert knowledge on Information memorandum, financial modeling, and valuation principles.

- Ability to spot emerging trends and accordingly work with cross-functional teams.

- Eye for detail with ability to simultaneously manage multiple transactions.

- Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to lead the team, build team morale & engagement.

- Fee revenue generation and new clients' acquisition.

- Building relationships with key players and CXO/ decision makers in the sector.
