Role Overview:

As the Director of Demand Planning, you will spearhead the end-to-end forecasting and supply chain strategy for our Bangalore operations. You will serve as a critical bridge between sales, marketing, and operations, ensuring that our inventory levels are perfectly calibrated to meet market volatility while optimizing working capital. Key Responsibilities:

- Orchestrate the monthly S&OP cycle to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities, ensuring seamless execution across all product categories.

- Develop and refine sophisticated statistical forecasting models to improve accuracy and reduce stock-outs, directly enhancing customer satisfaction.

- Oversee comprehensive capacity planning initiatives to ensure manufacturing and logistics infrastructure can support long-term business scaling.

- Manage inventory health by implementing rigorous replenishment strategies, thereby minimizing carrying costs and mitigating the risk of obsolescence.

- Partner with commercial teams to integrate market intelligence and promotional activities into the demand plan, ensuring proactive preparation for seasonal spikes.

- Mentor and lead a team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex demand planning cycles and supply chain optimization within large-scale, fast-paced environments.

- Proven ability to translate intricate data analytics into strategic business narratives for executive stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams to achieve unified operational goals.

- A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or an MBA from a premier institute is highly preferred.

- Minimum 8 - 14 years of progressive experience in demand and supply planning roles, with a clear history of delivering measurable improvements in forecast accuracy and inventory turns.
