Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Director of Data to lead enterprise data engineering, analytics, and AI/GenAI initiatives for healthcare clients. The role will combine technical leadership, client solutioning, pre-sales, delivery management, and team leadership.
The candidate should have strong expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, data pipelines, data governance, and AI/GenAI, along with proven experience managing large teams and multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end data engineering and analytics solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, and modern data platforms.
- Drive design and implementation of scalable data pipelines, data platforms, and data governance frameworks.
- Lead AI/GenAI initiatives and identify opportunities to embed AI into data solutions.
- Own client solutioning, architecture, consulting, and technical strategy.
- Lead pre-sales activities, RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, estimations, and presentations.
- Manage 20+ member teams across multiple functions and locations.
- Oversee delivery across 45 concurrent projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted technology advisor.
- Drive data modernization and transformation initiatives within the healthcare domain.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, privacy, quality, and compliance standards.
- Mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams and build strong technical capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics.
- Strong hands-on and architectural expertise in Databricks and Snowflake.
- Strong experience in data pipelines, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data architecture.
- Proven experience in AI/GenAI and data modernization initiatives.
- Strong experience in pre-sales, RFPs, client solutioning, and consulting.
- Experience managing 20+ member teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Healthcare domain experience is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and business-development skills.
