Senior Manager / Director - Data & Analytics (IT Consulting)

Experience: 16 - 23 Years
Industry Preference: Only IT Consulting
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT / Data Science / Computer Science / Statistics (Master's preferred)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Data & Analytics leader with deep expertise in building and scaling managed services delivery, modern data architecture, and cloud analytics solutions. The role requires strong client-facing leadership, delivery management, and the ability to drive data strategy and modernization initiatives for global enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale Data & Analytics programs and managed services engagements.
- Drive data modernization strategies including Data Lake, Data Fabric, Data Mesh & enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with CDO and business leadership to define roadmaps, governance frameworks, and transformation priorities.
- Build, mentor, and manage cross-functional delivery teams of 50+ resources.
- Lead pre-sales / solutioning initiatives, including RFP response, solution design, and thought leadership.
- Own delivery operations, performance governance, quality management, and customer success.
- Drive innovation using AI/ML, automation, and advanced analytics frameworks.
- Build strong client relationships while managing stakeholder expectations and escalations.
Required Technical Expertise
- Hands-on experience with cloud data & analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Glue, EMR, ADF, Redshift, Synapse, BigQuery etc.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop / Spark & modern ETL and orchestration frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of BI & reporting: Power BI, Tableau, QlikView.
- Experience with ETL / Data Integration tools (Informatica, Talend, Snowflake etc.) and programming (Python, R, SAS, SQL).
- Experience with traditional DWH platforms (Teradata, Netezza).
- Understanding of ML/AI, advanced analytics, and automation initiatives.
- Relevant data certifications preferred.
Leadership & Business Skills
- Proven ability to lead large teams and complex multi-year delivery engagements.
- Experience driving operational strategy and delivery excellence.
- Strong pre-sales exposure including solutioning, deal shaping, and collateral creation.
- Excellent communication & executive stakeholder engagement capabilities.
