- Global Team Leadership: Direct and scale a multi-geography operational organization, fostering a high-performance culture across Client Service, Processing, Loan Operations, Cash Management, and Trade Operations.

- Financial & Workforce Planning: Manage multi-million dollar operational budgets ($M). Optimize global workforce supply-and-demand models through effective capacity planning, location strategy (onshore/nearshore/offshore), and talent acquisition.

- Service Delivery Excellence: Define and enforce global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure seamless processing of corporate banking transactions and high client retention.

- Executive & Matrixed Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with Senior Business Leaders (Coverage Bankers, Product Management, Risk, Compliance, and Technology Partners) across regions to align operations with commercial priorities.

2. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:

- Best Practice Implementation: Deploy advanced Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies across processing workflows to eradicate friction, reduce cycle times, and improve "First Time Right" (FTR) delivery.

- Efficiency & Cost Optimization: Continually re-evaluate operating models to deliver year-over-year productivity gains and cost-per-transaction reductions while enhancing client satisfaction scores (CSAT/NPS).

- Data-Driven Insights: Institutionalize sophisticated operational metrics and interactive dashboards to track global volume trends, capacity bottlenecks, and operational defects in real-time.

3. Operational Transformation & Innovation:

- Vision & Roadmap Architecture: Incept, communicate, and lead a multi-year digital transformation vision designed to modernize legacy operational architectures into agile, digital-first operations.

- Execution & Risk Mitigation: Manage execution risks for large-scale initiatives, actively resolving issues, managing dependencies, and ensuring minimal disruption to Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations.

- Technology BAU & Future-State Innovation: Partner with Global Tech teams to drive core platform upgrades while championing cutting-edge tools (e.g., Intelligent Automation/RPA, AI/ML for document processing, workflow orchestration, and real-time payment rails).

4. Risk, Governance & Controls:

- Control Environment: Maintain a rock-solid, audit-ready operational risk framework compliant with global regulatory mandates (e.g., KYC/AML, Sanctions, SOX, Basel frameworks).

- Incident & Issue Management: Oversee root-cause analysis for operational errors, near-misses, or service outages, establishing rapid remediation plans to mitigate operational loss and reputation risk.

- Regulatory Liaison: Represent Corporate Banking Operations during internal/external audits and regulatory reviews.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Experience:

- 15+ years of progressive experience in Corporate / Wholesale Banking Operations, with at least 7 years in senior leadership managing large, multi-region operational teams.

- Demonstrated track record of leading end-to-end global transformation programs ($10M+ tech/ops investments) from conceptual vision to full execution.

- Extensive experience managing operational financials, FTE workforce supply-and-demand models, and vendor/third-party relationships.

Technical & Functional Knowledge:

- Deep domain expertise in Corporate Banking products (e.g., Treasury Services, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Syndicated Loans, Payments & Clearing).

- Certified/Expert understanding of process improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Agile / SAFe, BPM).

- Demonstrated expertise in managing BAU technology platforms and implementing digital capabilities (Automation, AI, API-first integrations).

Leadership & Soft Skills:

- Exceptional executive presence and stakeholder management skills; capable of influencing matrixed leadership teams and board-level committees.

- Strong decision-making capability under pressure, with sound judgment in balancing commercial demands, risk, and cost.

- Proven talent coach capable of developing world-class operational leaders and driving cross-cultural collaboration.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Operational Performance: SLA compliance (>98%), error rate reduction, and CSAT scores.

- Transformation Delivery: Milestones delivered on time, within budget, achieving targeted ROI/efficiency ratios.
