Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced management consultant to join our consulting practice.

The successful candidate will lead consulting engagements focused on Global Capability Center (GCC) strategy, operating model and organization design, sourcing strategy, process transformation, and enterprise change management.

The role requires a strategic thinker who can help global organizations redesign their operating models to improve agility, scalability, and business value.

As AI continues to reshape enterprises, the consultant will also assess clients' AI maturity and advise on how GCCs can accelerate AI adoption through appropriate capabilities, operating models, governance, talent, and ways of working.

The ideal candidate combines strong consulting skills with practical transformation experience and is comfortable advising senior executives on complex business and organizational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. GCC Strategy & Operating Model Advisory:

- Lead strategy and design engagements for Global Capability Centers, including business case development, location strategy, capability assessment, operating model design, governance, and value realization.

- Design enterprise and functional Target Operating Models aligned with business strategy and future growth objectives.

- Advise clients on governance structures, decision rights, service management, and performance management frameworks.

- Support organizations through various stages of the GCC lifecycle, including setup, scale-up, optimization, and transformation.

2. Organization Design & Workforce Transformation:

- Design organization structures aligned with future operating models.

- Develop organization design principles, governance models, role definitions, capability frameworks, career architecture, and workforce transition plans.

- Assess organizational effectiveness, spans and layers, decision-making structures, and operating governance.

3. AI-enabled Enterprise & Digital Transformation:

- Assess clients' AI maturity across business strategy, operating model, talent, technology, and organizational readiness.

- Evaluate how AI, automation, and intelligent workflows will impact operating models, workforce design, sourcing strategies, and GCC evolution.

- Develop pragmatic AI-enabled operating model and GCC roadmaps.

- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure business recommendations are practical and executable.

4. Business Process & Enterprise Transformation:

- Lead business process improvement and transformation initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and digital enablement approaches.

- Assess current state operations and identify opportunities for efficiency, effectiveness, automation, and value creation.

- Develop implementation roadmaps and business cases to support transformation initiatives.

5. Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building trusted advisory relationships.

- Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and executive briefings to align stakeholders and secure buy-in.

- Present insights, recommendations, and roadmaps to C-suite and senior leadership.

6. Project & Team Leadership:

- Structure, plan, and manage projects end-to-end, ensuring quality delivery within timelines and budgets.

- Lead cross-functional teams.

- Provide coaching, mentoring, and skill development to team members.

7. Thought Leadership:

- Contribute to intellectual capital creation, including frameworks, case studies, and whitepapers.

- Support proposal development, client pitches, and pursuit activities.

- Stay updated on industry trends in GCCs, operating models, sourcing strategies, and digital transformation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

- Experience in management consulting with leading consulting firms or boutique strategy and transformation consultancy firms.

- Demonstrated experience delivering consulting engagements in operating model design, GCC strategy, organization design, or enterprise transformation.

- Proven experience advising senior executives on business transformation and organizational effectiveness.

- Strong experience in designing Target Operating Models, governance frameworks, organization structures, and workforce transformation strategies.

- Experience in assessing organizational AI readiness and demonstrated ability to evaluate the impact of AI on operating models, service delivery, workforce composition, sourcing strategies, and organizational capabilities.

- Experience developing AI-enabled transformation roadmaps that consider business priorities, governance, talent, organizational readiness, and value realization.

- Experience leading enterprise change management initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, organizational impact assessment, communication strategy, leadership alignment, capability development, and adoption measurement.

- Experience applying formal change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent frameworks) is preferred.

- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or PMP is an advantage.
