Job Title : Director 1: Compliance, Governance & Regulatory Affairs (RBI-facing)
Purpose :
Act as the operational Director responsible for regulatory compliance and corporate governance of the NBFC.
Ensure the company remains fully compliant with RBI regulations and other statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead all RBI and regulatory compliance matters.
- Represent the company during RBI meetings, inspections and regulatory interactions.
- Oversee corporate governance, board compliance and statutory obligations.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, RBI guidelines and internal governance framework.
- Advise management on regulatory and legal risks.
- Work closely with the CEO, Board and external regulators.
Ideal Candidate :
- Senior Compliance Head / Chief Compliance Officer / Compliance Director.
- Experience in an RBI-regulated NBFC or Bank.
- Strong understanding of RBI regulations, governance and board matters.
- Previous interaction with RBI is highly preferred.
