Role Overview:
As the Director of Client Servicing, you will serve as the strategic bridge between our firm and our most valued institutional partners. You will lead high-stakes engagements, overseeing complex banking operations and investment banking mandates to ensure seamless service delivery and long-term relationship growth.
Day-to-day, you will collaborate with senior internal stakeholders, product heads, and cross-functional teams to resolve critical escalations, drive process efficiencies, and identify new avenues for business expansion. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence, directly impacting client retention, revenue growth, and the overall operational stability of our regional business units in Chennai and Delhi NCR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor large, multi-disciplinary teams to execute complex banking operations, ensuring adherence to global compliance standards and service level agreements.
- Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with institutional clients, acting as the primary point of escalation to resolve intricate service challenges and maintain high satisfaction scores.
- Drive the strategic roadmap for client servicing by identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing process improvements that enhance transaction velocity and accuracy.
- Partner with investment banking product teams to ensure that service delivery models are aligned with evolving market demands and client-specific investment objectives.
- Oversee the financial performance of client accounts, focusing on profitability, cost optimization, and the identification of cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value.
- Represent the organization in high-level client forums and regulatory discussions, ensuring that our service value proposition is clearly articulated and consistently delivered.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale banking operations and investment banking portfolios, with a proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives and build consensus across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, specifically in diagnosing operational inefficiencies and implementing scalable, technology-driven solutions.
- Superior communication and negotiation skills, essential for managing high-pressure client interactions and fostering long-term strategic partnerships.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
- A postgraduate degree from a premier institute is highly preferred, reflecting a strong academic foundation in finance or management.
- Demonstrated adaptability to operate effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site leadership requirements in Chennai or Delhi NCR with the demands of a distributed global team.
- 18 - 25 years of professional experience in client-facing roles within the financial services sector.
