Our client is a social enterprise based at Mumbai.

Role: Director - Business Development and Sales

Location : Mumbai

Yrs of exp: 10-15 yrs

Responsibilities:

- A sales leader passionate about making an impact and helping enterprises achieve their sustainability goals.

- Enterprise Sales: Identify, engage, negotiate, and close large deals with some of the best companies worldwide.

- Relationship Building: Leverage in-depth connections in the enterprise segment, ensuring top-to-bottom mapping, understanding the current landscape, and identifying business prospects.

- Strategy Development: Demonstrate dynamism and creativity in constructing favorable RFPs, direct deals, and devising effective sales strategies tailored to the evolving market landscape.

- Pipeline Building & Sales Management: Develop, manage, and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of prospects and efficient sales cycle management.

- Marketing & PR Initiatives: Lead marketing campaigns, including online marketing, social media outreach, and public relations initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

- Target Achievement: Adopt a highly target-oriented, aggressive approach, ensuring sales goals are consistently met or exceeded.

Requirements:

- Ability to lead the sales cycle with client personnel at the CxO level

- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in target-based consultative enterprise sales.

- Proven experience in leading the team to achieve annual sales targets

- Not afraid to get their hands dirty with sales tasks and business development

- Proven track record of handling and closing deals with large enterprise clients, both domestically and internationally

- Alignment with organization's cultural values and mission. Honesty and integrity are key.

- Strong network and connections within the enterprise customer segment.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

- Experience with CRM tools and data management.

- Experience in Tree Plantation organizations or with Nature-Based Solutions will bea plus

- A proactive, go-getter mindset with a passion for results and team growth.
