Director - Business Development & Partnerships
Description:
Role Summary The Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships will identify, negotiate, and manage high-impact, long-term alliances that significantly accelerate revenue growth and market reach for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Strategy: Define the global/national partnership strategy, identifying key sectors, companies, and partnership models (e.g., co-selling, technology integration, distribution agreements).
- End-to-End Deal Closure: Own the entire partnership lifecycle from initial outreach and qualification to negotiating terms, legal closure, and launch.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted relationships with C-level and senior executives at partner organizations.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Legal teams to ensure partnership agreements are technically feasible, legally sound, and strategically beneficial.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish partnership performance metrics and governance structure to ensure joint success and mutual ROI.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- MBA (Mandatory): Full-time MBA from a premier B-School.
- Experience: 8-12 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in a core Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, or Enterprise Sales role focused on large-scale deals.
- Exceptional negotiation and deal-making skills, with a proven track record of closing complex, multi-year agreements.
- Strong understanding of legal and commercial terms involved in partnership contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
