The Opportunity

The Director - Business & Financial Strategy will function as the right hand of the Founder, operating at the intersection of corporate strategy, capital allocation, and operations .

This role is designed to provide financial and commercial leverage. You will not only manage workflows but will actively drive the financial viability of key initiatives, manage investor relations, and ensure the seamless execution of the school's commercial mandates.

We are looking for a professional who brings the discipline of a deal team, the analytical rigor of equity research, and the relationship acumen of private wealth to the Founder's office.

Core Responsibilities

- Act as a trusted partner and extended arm of the Founder. Orchestrate and spearhead high-priority projects across the institution, demanding clarity, speed, and strict accountability for defined ROI.

- Function as a soundboard for capital allocation, pricing strategies, and business model evolution. Conduct high-level analysis of market trends and financial data to support decision-making regarding new academic product lines or expansion.

- Research and synthesize complex financial data into executive briefs to guide critical decisions, mirroring the depth of investment memos or equity research reports.

- Streamline day-to-day operations and robust internal processes, identifying bottlenecks to boost productivity across academic and commercial teams.

- Support the development and track strategic initiatives, ensuring progress against long-term goals through data-driven financial planning and analysis.

- Act as a critical liaison between the Founder, the leadership team, and key external stakeholders (like potential investors and industry partners), driving alignment and ensuring timely decision-making.

- Support capital planning, fundraising preparation, and ecosystem-building efforts by identifying and managing alliances with corporate banking partners, AMCs, and industry bodies to facilitate student placement and brand growth.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience within the wealth management, equities, investment banking, or financial services landscape.

- MBA from a top tier institute. Professional financial charter is a bonus.

- Demonstrated ability in financial modeling, pitch deck creation, and market analysis.

- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and work at high velocity.
