Director - Accounting - CoE/Shared Service Center - US GAAP

We are hiring a Director to establish and lead a global Accounting Shared Service Center (SSC) for a rapidly growing international tech platform. This high-impact role will drive accounting excellence, ensure US GAAP compliance, and build scalable processes, working closely with global finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and lead the Accounting SSC for international operations, ensuring timely and accurate US GAAP reporting.

- Oversee daily/monthly accounting processes: general ledger, AP, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, payroll, revenue, and reconciliations.

- Build and manage centralized accounts payable and month-end close processes.

- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing accounting team.

- Define and implement accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.

- Drive process improvements and automation.

- Support external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

- CA or CPA, with a Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 preferred).

- 4+ years leading teams of 10+ members.

- Proven expertise in building SSC/CoE for global operations.

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, NetSuite, and Excel.

- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

- Candidates with 1-month notice or immediate availability are preferred.
