Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement tax-efficient structures for M&A activities to minimize tax leakage and ensure regulatory alignment.
- Manage end-to-end transfer pricing compliance, including the preparation of master files and local files to defend intercompany pricing policies during audits.
- Oversee TDS compliance and filing processes to ensure accuracy and timely adherence to statutory requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide advisory support on direct tax implications for business expansion and restructuring projects.
- Represent the organization before tax authorities during assessments and litigation to resolve disputes effectively.
Required Skillset:
- Possess a deep technical understanding of the Income Tax Act, with a proven ability to interpret complex tax laws and apply them to real-world business scenarios.
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities in handling transfer pricing benchmarks and M&A tax modeling to support data-driven decision-making.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex tax concepts to non-finance stakeholders and negotiate effectively with regulatory bodies.
- Maintain a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in a reputed firm or corporate tax department.
- Adapt seamlessly to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai, managing multiple high-priority projects with precision and attention to detail.
