Direct Tax Role - CA

Job description for Direct Taxation:

Experience: 6-10 Years

Location: Gurugram

Requirement: Person involved in Direct Tax but not specifically into client facing role, they are looking for someone experienced in Research and development part (Backend role).

Technical capabilities:

- Addressing / review of technical queries raised by client teams.

- Ideation and product development basis key legislative changes

- Accompanying the client facing team in meetings / calls with clients, as and when required basis.

- Preparing / review of various research / position papers.

- Liaising with external counsels to obtain opinions on key matters.

- Responsibility to update, maintain and periodically review quality content on internal KM database.

- Sharing technical inputs for news alerts, thought leadership, quotes, budget exercise etc.

- Plan and implement monthly technical programme on current developments / significant case laws / relevant topics from domestic and international tax laws.

- Development of standard submissions, representations, checklists for tax returns etc.

Communications:

- Identifying key developments for sharing with internal stakeholders and help in identifying marketing opportunities

- Identifying important case laws / other developments for news alerts to be released - internal / external.

- Development and finalizing contents of tax podcast released at regular intervals by the firm.

- Development of thought leadership publications

- Content development for presentations for tax partners for various seminars and conferences.
