Description:
The Digital Transformation Lead Finance Domain is responsible for architecting and driving the end-to-end modernization of the Corporate Finance function through advanced technologies, process redesign, and enterprise-wide change management.
This role leads the definition and execution of a multi-year digital finance roadmap, embedding automation, analytics, AI/ML, and data-driven workflows at scale.
The position collaborates closely with Finance, IT, Data, and Digital Strategy teams to establish industry-leading capabilities that enhance operational efficiency, improve forecasting accuracy, and unlock actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Transformation Strategy:
- Develop and own a multi-year digital transformation roadmap aligned with the Corporate Finance strategy and enterprise digital vision.
- Define digital-first architecture for finance with emphasis on platform adoption, data unification, and AI-enabled decision-making.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (GenAI, cognitive automation, digital assistants, process mining, predictive analytics) for potential adoption.
Process Optimization & Modernization:
- Analyze and redesign key finance processes including consolidation, closing, forecasting, working capital, tax, treasury, and financial planning.
- Lead identification and implementation of automation opportunities across reconciliation, reporting, accruals, settlements, and audit readiness.
- Establish standardized, scalable, and data-driven workflows across global finance operations.
AI/ML & Advanced Analytics:
- Lead the design, pilot, and scale-up of AI-driven tools for forecasting, anomaly detection, fraud analytics, cash-flow prediction, and risk modeling.
- Enable machine learning algorithms for predictive insights across finance KPIs and operational drivers.
- Oversee integration of data science models into finance systems for near real-time insights and automated decision support.
Automation & Digital Tools Integration:
- Drive adoption of RPA, IPA (Intelligent Process Automation), and workflow orchestration technologies.
- Integrate cloud financial systems, data lakes, and enterprise analytics platforms for unified finance analytics and reporting.
- Oversee development of dashboards, self-service analytics, and visualization assets in Power BI/Tableau for global finance stakeholders.
Governance, Risk & Compliance:
- Build governance frameworks for data integrity, model accuracy, automation controls, and risk management.
- Align digital finance initiatives with internal controls, audit guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track transformation outcomes and financial impact.
Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership:
- Partner with senior global Finance leaders, CIO organization, and Digital COEs to ensure strategic alignment and capability adoption.
- Lead enterprise-wide change management initiatives, including training, communication, and capability uplift for finance teams.
- Build ROI-driven business cases, budgets, and investment proposals for large-scale digital transformation programs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in finance digitalization, enterprise transformation, or AI/analytics-led modernization.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance processes including FP&A, controllership, treasury, compliance, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and finance technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Workday Financials, and related data models.
- Hands-on expertise with Power BI/Tableau, financial modeling, and advanced analytics using Python/R.
- Experience implementing RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and AI/ML platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex).
- Proven ability to lead multi-country digital programs and operate effectively in matrixed global environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, program governance, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (CS/IT), Finance, or related technical discipline.
- CA, MBA (Finance/Technology), or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in digital finance, enterprise technology, shared services transformation, or AI-led strategic programs
