Description: The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of innovative digital advertising solutions across Mid-Day news platforms.

You will lead the charge in identifying market trends, building relationships with top-tier agencies and brands, and developing custom content strategies that respect our editorial integrity while delivering high ROI for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation & Strategy:

- Direct Sales: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing for high-value accounts.

- Portfolio Management: Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of clients, including local businesses, national brands, and programmatic partners.

- Yield Optimization: Collaborate with the operations team to maximize eCPM (effective cost per mille) across all digital inventory.

Product & Solution Development:

- Native Advertising: Work with the editorial/creative studio to sell "sponsored content" that aligns with the newsrooms voice.

- Multi-Channel Campaigns: Sell across display, newsletters, podcasts, video, and social media extensions.

- Data-Led Selling: Utilize first-party data and audience segments (CDP/DMP) to offer hyper-targeted solutions to advertisers.

Strategic Partnerships:

- Agency Relations: Maintain strong ties with media buying agencies and independent trading desks.

- Programmatic Oversight: Manage relationships with SSPs (Supply Side Platforms) and oversee Private Marketplace (PMP) deals.

Leadership & Analytics:

- Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs using tools like Google Ad Manager, GA4, or HubSpot.

- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry shifts such as the phase-out of third-party cookies and the rise of AI in advertising.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 5+ years in digital media sales, preferably within a news or high-traffic content environment.

- Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Google Ad Manager (GAM), CRM software, and programmatic buying/selling.

- Communication: Ability to translate complex data into a compelling "story" for advertisers.

- Adaptability: A deep understanding of how news cycles affect advertiser sentiment (Brand Safety vs.
