We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing & Community Growth Manager (AI Optimisation, Culture & Lifestyle) to join our client, Saravana Bhavan in Chennai.


Role Overview :


At Saravana Bhavan, food is more than a meal - it is culture, community, and continuity. We are seeking a Digital Marketing & Community Growth Manager who not only drives digital campaigns but also deeply understands Indian cultural roots, spiritual dynamics, and lifestyle trends. This role blends marketing strategy, community building, and generative AI optimisation with cultural sensitivity to ensure our digital presence reflects who we are: a brand rooted in tradition, yet evolving with the times.


Key Responsibilities :


- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across social, search, email, and paid media.

- Develop SEO and Generative AI Search Optimisation (GSO) strategies for visibility across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.

- Manage online reputation and presence on Google Maps, Zomato, Swiggy, TripAdvisor, and other platforms.

- Build and nurture communities across social and messaging platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram).

- Create conversations and campaigns that celebrate festivals, traditions, family, spirituality, and lifestyle values.

- Identify and collaborate with influencers, storytellers, and cultural voices to enrich the community.

- Develop content calendars that integrate food, rituals, traditions, and lifestyle narratives.

- Curate stories that resonate with the communitys emotions, spirituality, and daily life.

- Ensure content reflects brand authenticity while experimenting with modern formats (short videos, reels, podcasts, blogs).

- Leverage AI tools for content ideation, captions, visuals, and optimisation.

- Stay updated on AI-driven discovery and generative search platforms to ensure Saravana Bhavan is culturally visible.

- Experiment with AI personalisation to enhance engagement without losing authenticity.

- Track community sentiment, engagement, and lifestyle trends; share insights with leadership.

- Build dashboards and reports that connect marketing actions with cultural and business outcomes.


Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors or master's degree in Marketing, Visual Communication, or related fields.

- 3-5 years experience in digital marketing/community management (hospitality/food/culture-focused preferred).

- Strong understanding of Indian culture, festivals, spirituality, and lifestyle contexts.

- Hands-on knowledge of SEO, SEM, Paid Ads (Google Ads, Meta Ads), and analytics tools.

- Familiarity with generative AI tools for marketing.

- Ability to build conversations and communities rooted in people, life, and shared experiences.

- Excellent storytelling and communication skills (Tamil + English essential; multilingual is a plus).


- Curious, empathetic, and community-oriented mindset.
