Digital Lead - Project Management


Work Mode: WFO- Goa (Mining & Iron Ore Business domain) (Anyone from Manufacturing Domain is also ok)

Role Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Digital Lead to spearhead our Value Added Business (VAB) initiatives and drive innovation through strategic partnerships with startups (Spark ) across Iron Ore Business. This pivotal role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling new digital initiatives that deliver exceptional value to business, while fostering a culture of rapid innovation and digital excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


Value Added Business (VAB) Strategy & Execution:

- Define the strategy and roadmap for digital Value Added Business (VAB)

- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of VAB digital applications, from ideation to partner identification , Execution , launch, and post-launch optimization.

- Collaborate with Vendors and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of VAB services.

- Monitor performance metrics (adoption, usage, Cost Saving) for VAB Projects and iterate based on data Analytics .


Projects Management for Spark:

- Identify and analyze project ROI.

- Drive the execution of Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and pilot projects with selected startups, ensuring alignment with IOBs strategic objectives and regulatory compliance.

- Lead the integration of cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML, Cloud, Robotics , Big Data and IoT


Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management:


- Work closely with senior leadership across various departments to secure buy-in and drive digital initiatives.

- Influence and guide cross-functional teams, ensuring successful execution of VAB and Spark projects.


Market & Competitive Intelligence:

- Continuously monitor digital trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in Mining & Steel Industry


Qualifications:


Education:


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant Masters degree preferred.

- Data Science knowledge is Required


Experience:


- 5+ years spearheading digital change and innovation.


- Proven track record of launching successful digital initiatives or driving innovation initiatives.


Skills:


- Strong analytical capabilities.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Strong Data Analytics capability
