Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Manager - Telesales (New Client Acquisition) to lead a team focused on onboarding new business clients to our B2B marketplace platform. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with marketplaces like IndiaMART, TradeIndia, Alibaba, and a proven track record in B2B telesales and team management. The role involves direct revenue responsibility and team-building capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a telesales team responsible for onboarding new clients (manufacturers, exporters, SMEs/MSMEs) to the platform.
- Design and execute strategies to meet monthly/quarterly new client acquisition and revenue targets.
- Drive high-volume outbound calling, product presentations, negotiations, and closures through the telesales team.
- Train, mentor, and monitor team members to ensure performance consistency and skill development.
- Develop vertical/segment-specific outreach strategies based on market demand and product fit.
- Ensure seamless onboarding experience and proper documentation for all newly acquired clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to provide market feedback and improve product offerings.
- Maintain and analyze telesales reports, pipeline data, and conversion metrics to drive performance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: 4-8 years in B2B telesales or digital sales; experience with platforms
- Team Leadership: Minimum 2 years of experience managing telesales/inside sales teams.
- Sales Acumen: Proven success in closing sales and meeting revenue targets in a B2B marketplace or classifieds/directory-based model.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the Indian MSME/exporter/manufacturer landscape.
- CRM and Tech: Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce), MS Excel, and telesales dashboards.
