
Job Title: Director of Operations

About the Role:
We are a cutting-edge commercial software company driven by innovation, and were looking for a visionary Director of Operations to help us take our organizational culture and operational excellence to the next level. In this strategic leadership role, you will work directly with the CEO, CTO, and executive team, ensuring that our people strategy and culture initiatives align with our ambitious growth and innovation goals.
As the champion of our creative and collaborative work environment, you will oversee all initiatives related to fostering a culture of innovation, including setting up a Creative Organizational Office that encourages interaction and experimentation, and positioning our company as a hub of continuous learning and technological advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end Operations strategy for our India-based operations, ensuring alignment with the company's mission of developing innovative commercial software products.
- Partner with Engineering, Data Analytics, Product Management, and Performance leaders to drive organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Spearhead M&A integrations, fostering a seamless cultural and operational transition to maintain an innovative, collaborative spirit.
- Serve as the face of HR in executive discussions, board meetings, and investor due diligence, representing our culture of innovation and agility.
- Design and implement scalable HR systems, learning & development programs, and compensation frameworks that support a dynamic, fast-paced software environment.
- Lead change management initiatives that drive inclusivity (DEI), adaptability, and organizational development across all business units.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand our headcount across mid to senior leadership roles, fueling our growth and innovation capabilities.
- Create a culture of innovation, recognition, and collaboration that powers high performance across all teams.
- Actively participate in leadership discussions, innovation forums, and organize Knowledge Talks and creative workshops to nurture our innovative mindset.
- Oversee the setup or renovation of our office space to create an environment that sparks interaction, creativity, and innovation. Establish and lead the Creative Organizational Office, driving initiatives that promote creative thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and knowledge sharing
What You Bring:
- 14+ years of progressive strategic leadership experience, with a focus on operations and culture-building in commercial software or technology companies.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive performance management and strategic planning in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, along with a track record of successfully setting up new office spaces or transforming existing ones to support innovation.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as HRMS, G Suite, Microsoft Office, and other automation platforms.
- Recognized industry accolades and a consistent record of championing innovation and transformation initiatives within a growing technology-driven company.
