Digital Banking Auditor

Job Description :

The Digital Banking Auditor will be responsible for independently reviewing and auditing digital banking processes and digital platforms used in digital lending, digital payment systems and activities for data science. The auditor will review compliance with internal policies, and regulatory guidelines. The role involves detailed audits of digital channels, digital platforms, digital journeys and digital payments.

Role Details :

- Review digital lending systems, including loan origination, credit decision, and automated approvals.

- Conduct Digital payment systems audit in line with RBI guidelines on digital payments such as UPI, cards, wallets, and payment gateways.

- Conduct audit of digital onboarding journeys

- Conduct model evaluation and validation

- Review controls around transaction processing, fraud monitoring, and data accuracy.

- Review data governance practices including data access, ownership, privacy, and retention for digital processes

- Check compliance with RBI guidelines, internal policies, and regulatory expectations.

- Assess controls for customer data protection and information security.

- Review system access controls, user roles, and change management.

- Assess IT and application controls impacting data and analytics platforms.

- Review use of cloud platforms and third-party tools or data, where applicable.

- Prepare crisp and insightful audit memos with clear observations and actionable recommendations.

- Recommend improvements to digital lending and payment processes, documentation standards, and internal controls.

- Develop and implement audit checklists to proactively identify process gaps and bottlenecks.

- Collaborate with stakeholders such as Business units, Digital, IT and Risk teams to ensure timely resolution of audit observations.

- Support the preparation of periodic reports for senior management and regulatory submissions.
