About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Manager responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, statutory compliance, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in GST & PF compliance, and the ability to manage daily financial operations while supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare timely and accurate domestic sales tax invoices and maintain records for monthly revenue recognition

- Coordinate with sales teams to track customer advance payments and ensure proper accounting of receipts

- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, identify mismatches, and resolve discrepancies with the Accounts Manager

- Manage PF-related activities including employee support and ensuring statutory compliance

- Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, supplier invoices, and employee expenses

- Support month-end closing, audit preparation, and external audit processes

- Ensure accurate maintenance of tax records (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax) as per statutory requirements

- Assist in preparing periodic financial statements, MIS reports, and ad-hoc financial analysis

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control policies

Required Skillset:

- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, PF & compliance

- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books or similar)

- Excellent understanding of reconciliation, journal entries, and reporting

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

- Familiarity with audit procedures and statutory filings

- Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy

- Bachelors / Masters in Commerce / Finance / Accounting

- 4 to 7 years of experience in accounting & finance operations

- Hands-on experience with GST & statutory compliance is mandatory

- Experience in Zoho Books (preferred)
