
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using U.S. legal databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Draft litigation documents including complaints, motions, responses, discovery requests/responses, and other court filings.
- Assist in preparing supporting materials such as exhibits, case summaries, and legal memoranda.
- Review and analyze legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant court rules.
- Support case management, including document indexing, citation checking, and maintaining case files.
- Liaise with attorneys to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Stay current with procedural rules in both U.S. federal and state courts.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all assignments.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of U.S. legal systems, including court filing procedures and litigation workflows.
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
- Experience drafting litigation documents and preparing exhibits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with e-filing systems (PACER, state court e-filing platforms).
- Prior experience working remotely with U.S.-based clients or firms
