Role Overview:
The Design Head leads the engineering and design function for pre-engineered buildings (PEB), warehouses, and industrial steel structures-ensuring projects are safe, cost-effective, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design of PEB structures, industrial sheds, and warehouses
- Oversee structural analysis using tools like STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and Tekla Structures
- Review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and connection designs
- Optimize steel usage for cost efficiency without compromising safety
Ensure compliance with codes like:
a. IS 800
b. IS 875
c. IS 1893
- Coordinate with sales, projects, and production teams
- Lead and mentor design engineers and detailers
- Handle client discussions, approvals, and technical presentations
Required Qualifications:
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering
10-20+ years of experience in:
a. PEB design
b. Industrial buildings
c. Steel structures
