We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance-preferably with a background in NBFCs or the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to driving financial excellence and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IND AS and regulatory requirements.

- Manage the financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

- Ensure full compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and statutory filings.

- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audit planning and finalization.

- File statutory and regulatory returns within prescribed timelines.

- Support risk and finance teams in preparing ICAAP and disclosures in financial statements.

Budgeting & Forecasting :

- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with departmental heads.

- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective measures.

- Develop financial models, forecasts, and support strategic decision-making.

- Internal Controls & Risk Management

- Design and monitor internal control frameworks to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks through appropriate strategies.

Leadership & Team Development:

- Lead and mentor a team of junior finance professionals.

- Provide technical guidance and foster professional development.

- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives related to finance and compliance.

Process Improvement & Innovation:

- Keep abreast of regulatory developments and accounting trends.

- Identify opportunities for automation and implement process enhancements for improved efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA); additional finance certifications are a plus.

Analytical & Organizational Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Communication & Leadership:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams.
