Role Overview

A leading consulting firm is hiring on behalf of a prestigious real estate developer for a senior leadership role in construction. The Construction Lead will serve as the deputy to the COO, overseeing execution across three ultra-luxury, mixed-use projects. This role demands strategic oversight, operational excellence, and hands-on leadership to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Execution

- Project delivery with business goals and long-term vision. Support COO in defining construction strategies and execution roadmaps

- Align project delivery with business goals and long-term vision

2. Project Management

- Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of multi-site construction projects

- Ensure delivery within timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks

3. Operations & Process Excellence

- Implement best practices in planning, material management, and cost control

- Drive digitalization and automation in site operations

4. Team Leadership & Development

- Mentor and manage project directors, site heads, and engineering teams

- Build team capability through training and performance management

5. Stakeholder Management

- Liaise with consultants, architects, contractors, and vendors

- Support COO in vendor negotiations and contract finalization

6. Risk, Quality & Safety

- Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with quality and EHS standards

- Champion safety culture across all sites

Qualifications & Experience

- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil, Construction, or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)

- 18-20 years of experience in large-scale construction (real estate/infrastructure/EPC)

- Proven success in leading ultra-luxury projects, preferably in NCR

- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
