Hiring: Tax Deputy Manager | US Tax | Financial Services Domain

Location: Bangalore / Mumbai / Hyderabad

Work Mode: Hybrid (4 days on-site; Monday & Friday mandatory)

Shift Timing: 12:30 PM 9:30 PM IST

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end tax assignment handling: from planning to finalization

- Review U.S. tax returns (Partnerships Form 1065) and supporting workpapers

- Collaborate with global clients and internal teams to manage expectations and deliver quality

- Lead a team of 12 members within the tax cluster

- Act as the technical SME and first point of escalation for staff and seniors

- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members

- Support senior managers in client delivery and engagement oversight

Must-Have Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in U.S. / global taxation, preferably within financial services

Strong hands-on experience in:

- Funds-of-funds, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital, and Private Equity

- U.S. Partnership Taxation (Form 1065 Compliance)

Preferred (Nice to Have)

- CPA / CA / Enrolled Agent

- Experience working directly with U.S.-based clients or global stakeholders

- Experience from Big 4, BDO, RSM, or U.S. tax-focused consulting firms
