Deputy Manager - Supply Chain Operations -GCC
Role Overview:
We are hiring a Deputy Manager - Supply Chain Operations to drive end-to-end supply chain execution along with team leadership and capability building. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong people management experience, and the ability to manage global stakeholder relationships while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. People Leadership & Team Development
- Manage and lead a team of 7-10 members
- Drive performance management, coaching, and capability development
- Build leadership pipeline and develop high-potential team members
- Establish accountability, ownership, and structured ways of working
2. Supply Chain Operations & Execution
- Lead order management and fulfillment operations
- Ensure alignment with service, cost, inventory, and cash flow objectives
- Drive process standardization, SOP adherence, and governance frameworks
- Act as escalation point for complex operational issues
3. Strategic Initiatives & Capability Enhancement
- Drive supply chain planning, demand planning, and inventory control initiatives
- Lead continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
- Transition operations from execution-focused to insight-driven
- Strengthen data governance, reporting, and analytics capability
4. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with global stakeholders (Europe & North America)
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Planning, Logistics, IT, and Customer Service
- Communicate insights and performance metrics to leadership
Candidate Profile:
- 12-14 years of experience in Supply Chain Management (mandatory)
- Minimum 4-5 years of people management experience (team size - 5 members)
- Strong experience in Order Management (mandatory)
- Exposure to Supply Chain Planning / Demand Planning / Inventory Management (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with SAP (ECC / S4)
- Strong Advanced Excel skills (reporting & analysis)
- Exposure to Power BI (good to have)
- Experience in Air/Sea logistics (good to have)
- Prior experience in Global Shared Services / Development Centers preferred
- Proven experience managing global stakeholders (Europe/North America)
