Deputy Manager - Supply Chain

Description:

- Assist the Supply Chain Manager in end-to-end supply chain operations including sourcing, forecasting, inventory, logistics, and distribution.

- Analyze demand trends and coordinate with production, planning, and sales teams to allocate resources and maintain uninterrupted supply.

- Develop vendor comparison reports and support supplier evaluation, negotiations, onboarding, and contract compliance.

- Implement MRP/ERP processes and drive digitization initiatives to improve supply chain visibility.

- Monitor supplier performance, logistics metrics, lead time variances, and procurement costs.

- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, transportation scheduling, and warehouse performance.

- Manage inventory levels, track consumption patterns, and reduce excess/non-moving stock.

- Identify improvement areas in the supply chain and assist in implementing cost optimization

strategies.

- Prepare periodic MIS reports for management review and present actionable insights.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong experience in supply chain planning, procurement, and vendor management.

- Hands-on expertise with ERP/SAP/MRP systems.

- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
