Job Description:

- A global business consultancy firm is looking to hire a professional with 3 to 6 years of experience in IFRS 9 implementation and accounting for its Internal Audit function.

- The role will be based in Mumbai, with a long-term onsite assignment in Riyadh for 9 to 12 months, followed by a return to the base location.

- The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting end-to-end IFRS 9 implementation initiatives, including classification and measurement of financial instruments, impairment assessment using Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models, and hedge accounting where applicable.

- Responsibilities include reviewing and drafting accounting policies, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, supporting internal and external audit requirements, and preparing technical documentation.

- The role also involves close coordination with cross-functional teams and providing advisory support on IFRS-related matters to stakeholders and clients.

- The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a global, client-facing environment, particularly during the onsite assignment.
