Role Overview:
As a Deputy Manager or Manager for Project Sales, you will be at the forefront of driving business growth by identifying and converting high-value B2B opportunities across your designated region. You will act as the primary bridge between our technical capabilities and the complex needs of large-scale project stakeholders, including architects, consultants, contractors, and developers.
Your day-to-day will involve navigating long sales cycles, conducting deep market research to identify emerging project pipelines, and orchestrating techno-commercial discussions to secure profitable contracts. By fostering long-term relationships with key decision-makers and managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle, you will directly influence our market share and contribute significantly to the organization's top-line revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end project sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our footprint within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Conduct rigorous market research to map out upcoming projects, ensuring a robust sales funnel and proactive engagement with key influencers.
- Lead complex techno-commercial negotiations to align client requirements with our product offerings, ensuring mutually beneficial deal structures.
- Manage key account relationships by providing consistent value, resolving project-related bottlenecks, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and adherence to committed timelines.
- Develop and implement localized sales strategies to outperform competitors and establish our brand as the preferred partner in the Mumbai, Jaipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Gujarat markets.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing the full B2B sales lifecycle, specifically within the project sales domain, with a proven track record of closing high-value contracts.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical specifications into compelling business value propositions for diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills, with the capability to navigate high-stakes discussions and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in strategic account management, including the ability to identify, nurture, and retain long-term relationships with institutional clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to influence decision-makers at all levels of an organization.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a field-intensive role, requiring frequent travel and on-site client interactions across your assigned territory.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by 3 - 6 years of relevant professional experience in project-based sales environments.
