Deputy Manager - Finance - Banking & Forex - CA

Role Overview:

A leading packaging and containers manufacturing organisation is looking for a Deputy Manager - Finance who will be responsible for banking transactions, forex management, and managing cash flow, liquidity, financial risks, and banking activities.

Cash Management:

- Oversee daily cash flow management to ensure adequate liquidity.

- Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize cash flow and liquidity.

- Monitor and manage the company's short-term and long-term liquidity needs.

Risk Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate, currency, and credit risks.

- Develop and implement hedging strategies to manage financial exposures.

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.

Banking Relationships:

- Establish and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.

- Negotiate terms and conditions of financial products and services.

- Manage banking facilities and ensure efficient and cost-effective banking operations.

- Evaluate and recommend appropriate banking products and services.

Treasury Operations:

- Oversee the company's treasury operations, including payments, collections, and investments.

- Ensure accurate and timely execution of treasury transactions.

- Implement and maintain treasury systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Working Capital Management:

- Optimize the companys working capital by managing receivables, payables, and inventory levels.

- Develop strategies to improve cash conversion cycles and reduce working capital requirements.

Forex Management:

- Manage the companys foreign exchange exposure and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

- Monitor currency markets and execute forex transactions as needed.

- Provide guidance on forex policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.

- Prepare and present regular treasury reports to senior management and the board.

- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

Required Qualification:

- CA

Experience:

- 8 - 12 Years in a similar role
